Ipb 2.1.6 Help

I was installing an Arcade mod today, and it works great. But my problem is, when i type /forum it gives me an
403: Invision Power Board -> Forbidden mesage, but if I type /forum/index.php it works just fine.. There is no problem in my index.php, i have no idea what the problem is, can anyone help me?

 

Obviously you installed the mod wrong for a bit, try uninstalling it, then doing it all over again. You made copies of important files right? Because if you didn't you may just have to start over again.

 

nah the mod is right.. it started doing it before the mod was installed

 

i think you need to CHMOD it ....

 

That is true, it might need to be a CHMOD of like 775 or 777. I get 777 a lot more than 775 though.

 

yea i tried that.. fixed it tho.. we had index.html and index.php in that folder by accident.. just deleted index.html and it worked..haha

wow, to think.. we wasted so much time on that.. over an hour
