I just got this message "Invalid DirectX Version" whilst trying to join my clans server, it was Zblock which kicked me. And i was playing this exact server yesterday late night. I don't think Zblock was installed then. I have DirectX 9.0. Any idea what might be wrong? <_<
Go into your advanced video options in CS:S, and see what the directx level is at. If its at 7, 8.0, or 8.1, exit CS:S and open the steam "My Games" tab, select CS:S and right click > properties. Go into "Launch Options" and type the following code in. Code: -dxlevel 90 However, if it is on dx9 already, try downloading directx 9.0C, or updating the drivers for your video card. Beyond that i can't really help you, but go to steam support and see if you can find an answer.
