Introductory Video Tutorial To C4d

This is the video tutorial I recently made for the tutoring auction that was won by BFTP. We have decided to release it to the general public now for only 5 creds.

I would have done it for free, but there is also a small catch...

If you purchase the video, you must provide some feedback as to how I could improve later volumes of these lessons.

The video is approximately 15 mins long, and discusses the most commonly used tools for building your models, render settings to achieve transparency, using nurbs, and how to apply materials.

This lesson does not explain building the material itself, but there are links to plenty in my sig. Each for a minimal fee I might add.

Ideas for future lessons in the works:
making materials: glossy, metallic, glassy, organic and more
using deformers:
other nurb types:
lighting techniques:
using various plugins:

And possibly particle emitters, and pyroclusters. They are really ram intensive though, say I may have to wait til I get my new compy for those in about 2 months. Maybe less.

The file is compressed in rar to save a little space. The .rar file is about 75 MB, and the movie itself is approximately 90 MB.

This is the render that was made with the vid. Keep in mind though, the purpose of this vid is to get you aquainted with the controls and provide a good start for using the program correctly.

well it doesn't work for me :< i dled it and extracted it but something is corrupted or something and all i get is the audio ><

I dunno why it would be corrupted. I just downloaded and viewed it fine.

Is the winrar you are using expired, or a full version? And are you certain you can view avi files?
