Internet Speed Question

    Yeah I know, when I tried upload large files to Rapidshare and Megaupload, I was uploading at 7kb/s, when I'm supposed to upload at 9 times that at 64. The reason? Their servers are in like England or Germany or something like that :(

    Server. Tried to screen it when I noticed, but it was at like... 98% when I noticed.

    it might happen cause u passed your download limit
    though yeh, maybe its the server ur downloading from

    i passed my 20GB download, but the moment i reach 40GB it goes back to normal speed. I have ADSL +2 as well and mine downloads at 1.5MB a sec if its direct from a website

    So if I have 100MB/S I can download at 1MB/S?

    just a bit of an FYI theres 8 bits in a byte not 10 so the speeds right

    No, read up on the first page. There are a bunch of factors which cause the speeds to vary no matter your connection to the ISP.

    I have 7.6mbp/s but im downloading 600kbps-800kbps ('cause new zealand has ---- broadband) and WTF my other computer downloads 800kbps-1mb and its like older [using it for linux =)]

    That is impossible, max you could get would be about 700kb/s.
