This happened randomly..all of a sudden, my firefox slows down... I go to http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/ In IE: 4.5mbs download, 2.0 mbs upload...like normal.... In FF: Download speed doesnt do anything, dunno why...just the site in FF i guess, upload: 321 kbs... whats up with this? all the other tests i've tried didnt even show me the results...any clue? EDIT: by the way..Its running Ok now..but it still doesnt upload quick thru FF... hmm..download is ok...sites load fine.. When I try to upload a file to rapidshare, it goes really slow, like 50 kbs..today when I uploaded a file through ftp to my site it went at 2.0mbs..
Well, it really depends on how the file is being downloaded. Every browser is different, I learned. For uploads, it depends on how it is uploaded as well. If it has to upload and check every file, it will take longer than just uploading the file. Sorry if your head is spinning, but every browser grabs a file differently.. in a nutshell
Oh ok..thanks.. I guess I'll test it on IE now..lets see ok I'd say IE isfasterfor uploads..at least for rapidshare.de ... and sry bout not spacing..space bar isnt workin right
