Well, on deviantart I try to log in and it doesn't let me, same with hotmail.
When I try to go on hotmail it says "i have to allow cookies".
I checked my tools>>privacy tab to see if my browser is allowing cookies, and it's checked yes.
    Any other solutions?
Nothing seems to be working, I've also cleared my cache.

same thing happening to me. I cannot sign into msn, or anything else. It says you don't have an active IE connection or something. I had this problem for a very long time now

Unfortunately many firewalls block legitimate connections, so it is actually something worth trying if you really need to access whatever it is.

Well, my guess would have to be the firewall. disable it, or if you're on a router, you can allow certain sites. At least on a d-link router...
