    my internet doesnt show the background of web pages can someone help?

    Hmm. Are you running GR in the Lo-Fi Version? Though I've never seen the background been removed. It could be a broswer problem as well.

    its every webpage not just gr and the backgrounds white in microsoft's security center and in windows media player the controll buttons are white.

    could be a bug in IE 7, its still beta, so theyre probably still working that out..

    try a different browser, like Firefox?

    It could also be a security thing that you can turn off certain things. Not exactly sure, that sometimes happens to me when the computer is loading slow and it doesnt download the css right away.
    Try a different browser. Firefox :)

    it happened in IE 6 so i tried 7 beta and firefox and its still the same but firefox doesnt load half the images on a webpage.

    a few weeks, ive been trying to live with it but im going crazy

    might be a good time to backup and reinstall windows...

    or maybe do spyware scans in safe mode...
