IE7 HAS A BETTER ENGINE, HAS ----LOADS OF FEATURES MORESO THAN Fx HAS GREAT CUSTOMIZEABILITY WITH SKINNING UTILITIES, AND OPERA ISN'T EXACTLY OPEN SOURCE

on another note, now I'm not forced into using IE and can now uninstall it partially or in full. that's nice. I have found IE7 to be pretty good so far, but I still stck to opera or Fx simply as a security measure since it is integrated on windows XP.

That's good to hear, but not all popups are blocked by FX.

I have A/V and a firewall and sometimes I still get retarded popups :x sometimes I want em so that's good.

Another point, with IE7's new features, if FX can 'merge' with IE that'd be very sexy, IE's new features, FX security :D

True, but Microsoft will more than likly ship it on a CD/DVD than put it directly into the core of Vista.

Sounds like good news to me. I dont even use IE, and I constantly get pop ups on it, even with the blocker engaged. It also put spyware on my computer, and IE wasnt even running!

then it wasnt IE that did that. it was you visiting a site that gave it to and it loaded the spyware via IE instead of Firefox.
