I had an opportunity to install and run the first test version of the new Internet explorer. While when you open the browser things look promising it still however has MANY things that need to be worked out. You cant access certain webpages (for example Yahoo mail) you can not access your favorite, you cant do windows updates, and the list of tiny things only continues to grow. While the tabbed browsing is nice it still needs to be tuned to perfection! As a reminder this is BETA software, so its going to have problems... the final version released to the public with run much more smoothly ( and hopefully secure) I would suggest that if you have access to this software and you are going to install it, BACK UP YOUR SYSTEM! That way when your not happy with it you can go back to the way things were, cuz you cant goto add/remove programs and have all your worries go away. If you have access to this and are thinking about it, but are hesitant, dont do it. Stick with w/e you have now. If ya'll have questions fire away because I have to do a system restore here in a bit to make Internet Explorer 7 go away....
Its going to be really good. Microsoft is being forced to make it more secure. Everyone is converting. As for me, I use a browser that is based of IE, which is almost as secure as Fox with its features and I use Fox also.
