    Yes, there is a K8L quad-core. The Intel quad-core is Kentsfield I believe.

    Where the HELL, does intel get their chipset names?

    They are like resorts or something. Or no.. thats Microsoft.

    All Intel code names are cities in the US. Israeli projects usually have a name that is both a city in the US and a city in Israel. - digg

    its *codename* name, not chipset. chipset is on the motherboard. Kentsfield is just the codename of the cpu, like Conroe, Merom, Allendale, or Millvile.
