After purchasing the disc of photoshop I copied the installation files onto my pc just in case I needed them. I recently misplaced the cd and I would like to install photoshop on my pc upstairs which has no internet. I put all the installation files onto my mp3 player excluding data1.cab since it was too big for the drive. I put all the other files onto the pc upstairs and deleted the stuff off my mp3 player. I then tried to put data1.cab onto it, the disc had more than enough space but I get an error saying "Could not open this file because it is not in the standard Microsoft cab format (as defined in mid 1998). The "Signature Bites" in the file are missing." Has anyone else had this error? Does anyone know how to overcome it? I've googled it but nothing worked. And yes, I have disabled Norton and I have tried running it in safe mode. Merged Post: bump. this is important :/
umm...not sure what to tell you...maybe convert your Adobe folder files into a .iso and burn it and try that, not sure really. rules seem to have changed around here so i don't think i can suggest my way of getting it, but it's not exactly legal.
Did it work before? You shouldn't ideallyt split up your rar package - Some files linked to each other - Just not sure atm ... Best way - Re-download and burn onto a CDRW disc or get a pen drive big enough
My computer's cd burner won't work, and I didn't download photoshop. I actually bought it. But if I were to, my internet is too slow for it to ever finish. Less than 1kb per second isn't enough to download 100 mb of stuff.
my idea if u still have serial download the trial burn the setup thing folder to a cd put into cd and install and use serial from your cd
save the cd... if possibly your other computer has an ethernet slot (maybe), direct connect them and you can save some disks. but either way, get a new cd/dvd drive ^_^
