I'm not a great fan of RPG so it really doesnt matter to me, its just that i've borrowed Fable of a pal and it lasted me longer than 12 hours. And you cant tell if PS3 games are going to be good or not. All that video shows is that the graphics are quite impressive...if that is the final outcome to the PS3.
I think it is funny everyone is basing that PS3 will own due to a video. Yea the video looks great, but like most in thread have stated it can be pre-rendered. Me personally, I choose what has the games I like, I own a PS2 cuz there is a lot of games I like there, but I also want an Xbox for a few games there, this will probably be the same thing that will happen for me on Xbox 360 and PS3. Speculation is speculation, people will say what they want to say and be the way they want to be. Fans will be fans also, no matter even if that system is proven to be worse then another system, they will still say it owns and rocks. I just cant wait till after PS3 comes out and a new thread starts with this all over again and your going to get "PS3 > Xbox 360 and Xbox > PS3" and you know what is going to be the fun part they all are going to base their decision on only playing one system or they will play both systems but different games and based it from that. Just wait till PS3 is out, get a game that is on both systems, but also try a few games that is offered on both consoles then base your opinions then. Good luck with this and I hope my posting of the 360 and PS3 specs show some things, but they are only specs. There is a lot more to just specs that will drive a console to sell. e.g. Controller, look, the feel it has for game genre and the sort.
Fanboys should burn in hell. Myself, I'd like the x360 to be the biggest looser next-gen. Why? Not because I'm a fanboy, but because that it has in itself no advantage over the other consoles. PS3 will essentially copy xbox live, but with the gaming part being free. And the Rev has the most innovative controller in history (who would ever think of the idea of using a remote? ) Also, ps3 supports better resolution than x360. Now, what would rev and ps3 users gain on x360 getting bad sales? More games for ps3 and rev, of course. The less it sells, the less games it will get. That would logically be the best (but tough luck for x360 owners) and I never liked the exclusive games on x360 or xbox anyways...
But they DON'T have the same capabilities... Ps3 has better hardware and system bandwich how would it be the same... That's just the same as saying the original Xbox is equal to Ps2 :unsure:
PS3 looks like it will be the best at graphics. Thats pretty cool. Depending on the price I may get a PS3.
