    Right basically.

My internet messed up a while ago. So one of my mums friends came and fixed it. And im preety convinced hes done something...

I cant get on the following

    1. DA Chat
    2. ANY online game where you battle etc against other people..

Basically anything that has direct contact with other people...
Wondering if anyone knows what the prob is and how I can solve it? =D

if youre connected through the router, the routers firewall may be on, or some of the ports may be blocked.

FYI- If you are on wireless, it still goes through the router, that's where the signal goes to...

knowing that, it still could be a port not opened on your router..

yep, that's the easiest way. they normally tell you what ports you must open at the website of the game/application

reformatting should have nothing to do with ports being blocked. It's on your router, not in windows...
