For school i have to hand in an assignment about Impressionism, but the fact is that you have to use both a book and a internet site, but in our library; all the books about that are loaned atm, because many classes have to hand them in at the same time.

So does anyone has a book about it and willing to scan 1/2 pages of it? (short view of what impressionism is)

    Thanks in advance

    Nielz

    Impressionism
    n noun
1 a style or movement in painting characterized by a concern with depicting the visual impression of the moment, especially in terms of the shifting effect of light.
2 a literary or artistic style that seeks to capture a feeling or experience rather than to achieve accurate depiction.
3 Music a style of composition in which clarity of structure and theme is subordinate to harmonic effects.

    DERIVATIVES
    Impressionist noun & adjective

    ORIGIN
from French impressionnisme, from impressionniste, originally applied unfavourably with reference to Monet's painting Impression: soleil levant (1872).

    Quoted from "Oxford Dictionary"

Sorry, don't have a book about it though.

    Abstract 1

Qualitative research approaches in hospitality are underdeveloped. As a contribution to addressing this shortcoming, sociological previous termimpressionismnext term—a form of autobiographical sociology—is described and associated issues are examined. The methodological discussion is contextualized within the homestay sector and historical developments in qualitative research. An overview of previous significant investigations of commercial and private homes is supplied and their research methods are appraised. A synopsis of the principal findings from the current study employing sociological previous termimpressionismnext term is provided. Methodological issues considered include selectivity, host-guest matching, and the autonomy of qualitative work. The potential of this research theme in exploring intangible dimensions of hospitality is highlighted.

Thank you both, too bad there is clearly stated from my teacher that it has to be a book. I have to compare results between book and internet.
