Well i live in the United Kindom and l8ly iv had a few encounters with people that cant speak english. Example: i walked into the bp garage to get petrol today and i asked a indian employee if they sold "Hot food" he replied "yes yes sir, follow me. I followed only to be directed to "Dog food" i replied "No HOT food." He shrugged his shoulders and called over the manager to help me. I was just wondering on other peoples veiws if people coming into the country should be fluent in english?
Yes they should, if there planning to move to a country then they should make an effort to learn the language.
He is learning, its not overnight, and its much harder for adults. Plus english is the hardest language to learn. So stop being an ass, your accent sucks too.
lol? what made you think english is the hardest to learn? and you dont know my accent so dont judge try learning japanese then come back.
English is the hardest language to learn. The verbs don't conjugate like they do in other languages (Spanish, Italian, French, etc.) Oh, and if you have issues with immigrants. Don't come to New York. It's like the crossroads between Pakistan and Russia here. EDIT: Oh yeah, not as hard as Japanese, though.
i think that english is one of the hardest languages to learn b/c of what The Infidel said, "the verbs don't conjugate like they do in other languages".
