I never request tutorials (hell i make my own tuts on my forums) but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make rotating animations. By rotating i mean spinning gears or any sort of clockwise/counter clockwise animation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If by more than Ps you mean ImageReady I have that as stated in the topic title. If you mean i need a whole seperate program, there has to be a way i can get the tween function to do clockwise/counter rotations

I even found a link at Goodtutorials for a circular rotation tutorial but ofcourse the link was dead

u need cinema 4 d or some other 3d program
but i dont think its posisble to make something rotate by using the tween button
maybe press control +t move it a bit make a new frame
    rotate it some more
it would take a while but thats the only way you can do it in photoshop/imageready i believe..

    nonono

You can do it with just photoshop/imageready!

every frame go to edit>free transform and then rotate it....

Then you will have it look as if it is rotating.

I tried that but couldnt get it to work. I got a weird sort of wiggle instead of a rotation. Especially if what I am rotating is symmetrical and has no visual difference. I know i could use that method if say a gear had a different design on each tooth so to speak.

If your positive this works make me a short tut and youll get some Rep
