who cares. Better off not going to college considering we are totally going into a depression in less then a year.
maybe you should have gone.... it is just about impossible that we could go into a depression from here. thats the wonder of a recession. a depression is almost overnight. in 1929, the stock market died one day, everything else collapsed with it the next. now thats just not possible. any savings you have are FDIC insured, so your money cant disappear. also, we dont have any hoover-type character to ---- everything up. obama knows that the government needs to start spending and hes coming in a little more than a month. FDR had to figure that out. Plus, recessions are gradual, but they never bottom out at "depression". We've already had our crash, but we're still not in a depression. we're not going to be. anyway i already have enough money for college.
So you're saying, instead of spending four years of my life being properly educated so I can get a good job(and notably I will be coming onto the job market after a depression so plenty of jobs will be opening up), I just just skip that and try and find a job just as a recession is starting? Wow, good logic.
Do you watch the news? Everyone has been saying that we might enter a depression worse then the last one. Why do you think they are doing these bail outs? It's because if these companys crash, it will happen. Nothing is impossible, and this is very possible. Oh and you have $80,000 already? That really doesn't effect you getting a job now adays. Atleast here it doesn't, my uncle went to college for 6 years getting his degree whichever one it was I forget. He gets out, and no one will hire him. This happens to aloooot of people. Are you even going to college to help you get a career in a certain field, or are you just going to "properly" educate yourself.
