If you want sniping, get ET (like the others said) and there is a sniper map made, that has two teams on 2 islands, and there are only snipers there, definatly great!
dod and cs r great sniper games, long as ur on right map of course, go for ET like others say, but CS and DOD have more variety !
Sniper: PTV is a decent game if your looking for sniping... so is Marine Sharpshooter is a decenbt one too. No multiplayer, but its all sniping... really cheap too... Ill ahve me first rep now
You could buy the game Sniper but it's pants. There's a new sniper game coming out for PS2 soon I think.
I'd say, I was faced with a similar dillema, then I got Halo 2. Doesn't have stuff like hiding with the camo thingies, or going prone, but it's really good for practice!
I play ut99, i know its an old game but it is still fun. I am in a clan UTJAG (just a game) www.utjag.co.uk
For Singleplayer sniping ofcourse the Hitman series. For Multiplayer sniping experience go for America's Army. My definate favourite of all... ^_^
