No it's not, it says $. Either way, Candadian or not, that is overpriced.

There aren't many good PCI cards, actually really none at all. You're better off looking for a motherboard that will work with your ---- and get something like this:
    http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...&Tab=2&NoMapp=0

Or cheaper: (which would learn you with more money to use on a motherboard)
    http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...&Tab=2&NoMapp=0

    Also a good buy:

Make sure your Mobo can support the card.

He already told us he has PCI. I suggesting that he upgrades the Motherboard and graphics.

It's not hard to install. You place the motherboard in the chassis the only logical way it can fix, and you plug the cords into the only logical slots that it can fix into.

    it's about 100CDN overpriced...

I highly suggest the nvidia GeForce 6200 PCI. it's 27USD on newegg my guesse would be no more than 40CDN... should outperform the 5500 by a fare amount.

in full seriousness though, why aren't you allowed to order online?

the worst experiences that I've had are my fault for not researching/checking manufacturer(for rebate/free software)and that's way minor..

on another note... newegg apparently liked my customer review, so they sent me a free complementary giftpack. I got an OK shirt(put at best) a decent quality hat, and a liscence plate thingy... all of which I will never use, but still...
