Apple makes second rate PC clones in short, basically any system which uses a processor capable of processing x86 instruction sets(and derivatives) use of BIOS or a BIOS-like firmware system, and uses appropriate IO signaling and the like, etc. that's what apple makes now and has made for nearly 3 years. Yes I am a PC fanboy, because PCs are cheaper than your non x86 systems due to mass production. that's why Apple now makes PC clones. The systems are cheaper, more efficient, more reliable, and more powerful than what was being made when they were using PPC based systems.
