I made a picture in Illustrator which I then pasted into Photoshop CS2 as a smart object. I'm not sure if that is what caused it or not but I am not able to use a lot of the filters now such as:

    -All Artistic Filters
    -Brush Strokes
    -Sketch
    -Texture
    -Video
    -Lens Flare
    -Lighting Efftects

Aswell as some others. And is there a way to be able to use these filters on the piece I am working on because I really need them :)

    Thanks in advance guys.

It still didn't work even when I deleted the thing made in Illy completely. The only other thing that is different to what i usually do is that it is CMYK colour instead of RGB would that have anything to do with it?

Thought that might be it, is there anyway to change the thing I made in Illy to RGB without restarting?

I'm pretty sure you either have to change the color mode to RBG (Image>Mode>RBG) or you have to rasterize the layer if its still a smart object. Thats my guess
