in that case, it would be stupid. only CPU which sony has had any impact in developing is cell. Cell would be nice to play with but just realy isn't that great for desktop parts as the interger performance is crap. Sony makes no RAM, no ICs, no PCB board, nothing. They'de have to toss up a few billion for FABs Harddrives - see above motherboards - see above graphics solutions - see above -------- unless they just designed the parts and had others make them, then that would be... EXACTLY WHAT THEY HAVE NOW. in short if sony actually made all the parts it would be expensive and underperforming.
