Ok, my adress bar won't show up for my IE. It may sound simple as 'Right click and click adress bar', but I did that already, and it is checked.

This is what it looks like when Adress Bar is checked:

    Photobucket sized it down, sorry.

Is "Lock Toolbars" checked? if not and it still doesn't work then run a spyware scan.

I unchecked it, and nothing happened.

I dragged it down, bvut now I can see some of my favorites appear in little icons on the top...

    M'kay, I'll run a spyware scan. Thanks.

Uncheck the "Lock Toolbar" thing, THEN uncheck and recheck the adsress bar thing...if all else fails...FireFox or Opera will make EXCELLENT replacements, even if you do fix it, I recommend getting off of IE and switching, get them both, use Opera as a primary and FF as a secondary, IE as a last resort(thats what I do anyways), you'll be much more secure ;)

I couldn't agree more. I think it's a giving you a sign that you can't carry on using IE. I would suggest using opera as your secondary browser and FF as your first not only because i like it , because many other people like it :)

I guess I could start using FF.

Thanks AE86, I did that and it helped, my adress bar is back up.

Except, now the history, favorites, etc., those icons disappeared....

Unlock the toolbar and check to make sure that the address bar thing has that little check mark near it in the drop down box.
