I was looking through the device manager and i found that something called Primary IDE Channel in IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers thing, was disabled, so after enabling it, it came with a yellow caution sign
n in its properties, it says this

Your IDE controller and your ATA controller are two entirely different things. If your HDD is UltraATA then there's no point in enabling your IDE controller, as there shouldn't be anything connected to it.

If your MP3 player isn't working anymore it wouldn't have anything to do with your ATA or IDE channels anyway. What is it that you're trying to get working?

Also, revert any changes you've made to the system, like that IDE channel thing. In my experience, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

    Course...it is kind of broke...hmm...
