I just recently activated Icontweaker to allow my icons to look like the same from another OS, but they appear to be out of their original res because they are choppy around the edges. I checked my icon folder and it seems that most icons are standard 16x16, arent they? If not, what would be a good resolution for the icons to be set at?

standard in windows XP is 32*32

i leave my icons at 48*48 though as that's what I like, many icons scale well to that point as well

Right Click desktop > Properties > Appearance > Effects > Icon, change at your will. I use 128 x 128 for dock and the big AveDesk icons on my desktop.
