It wasnt pretty, who wants to see it? I have a video of me on the way to the hospital, a video of after the surgery and an xray.... I cut through the bone but the thumb was attached by some flesh and it just hung there...it was crazy... I got 7 stiches and 3 pins. 2 pins had balls on the tip so they can take them out easier but the 3rd one was in my thumb all the way for some reason, so when they took it out they had to cut out a piece of my thumb to get to the pin.... This was 5 months ago, its all healed up now, I can bend it half way but I cant feel the right half of it and it looks really messed up. Hahahaha lol.. I can still render, I use my right hand... I haven't rendered for like a year now though, I haven't been active on GR. But hey, I still have my thumb so I'm good to go! I'm really glad that they where able to re-attach it. In the 3 months that I wore a cast I realized how much we use our thumbs....
The scar in the picture looks way better than it really looks in real life...it looks F***ED up actually.. It was interesting to watch it heal...It was all swollen and raw, and 2 months later my thumb lost all its fat and muscle. All the old skin dried up and the cut turned all scabby...So I had to peel all the old skin and the scabs off, and under it was like a whole new thumb...it was wierd.... Right when it happened I went into shock so on a scale of 1-10 the pain was only a 2... it hurt more after the surgery and everything, but its hard to remember the pain because I was high on pain killers the whole time...for 2 months, and when I stopped taking oxy I had withdrawals and stuff...couldn't sleep at night unless I took some pills..its like straight heroin, not something you wanna get addicted to. It was hard to quit but I did it.
Videos of guys having their arms, legs, feet, hands, heads cut off, videos of men cutting their shlongs off, balls off, stabbing themselves in the balls, hammering themselves in the balls, people being splattered after they have been ran over. My dad when he gashed his leg open and never went to the hospital and many other things. My brother when he jumped out of a tree and landed on a nail which went right through his foot, my other brother when he cut his hand open. My cousin when he drowned when he was 4, not a nice sight to see for anyone, especially when your only young yourself. Much, much more ----.
