ok yesterday i posted that i need help for my physics project but i was talking to my teacher and now he wants it done only in excel.. and i have no idea where to start for the simple fact that ive never touched it before, anyone got any good free sites for excel programing? or can u guys help me out as i go? thanks much appreciated
Um, if you still need to do the same thing (plot velocity time graphs etc.) then you don't really need to program anything in excel.
I am pretty good in excel ... graphs, charts, pivot tables, vlookup ... even macros writing it's my bread and butter what exactly do you need to do
yah read that post and it might seem easy for you guys but ive never touched excel in my life. Right now my teacehr gave me a problem to mess around with. You throw a ball witha user-defined mass up in the air, he wants it to calculate the velocity with acceleration set to -9.8m/s^2 and with a starting position of Y(sub o) = 0 i say Y(sub o) because i cant find the ascii for it but thats it right now then he wants me to autoscale the time by increments set by the user as in t-step to tell excel how much to step by or example 2 so the coloum for time would be 0 2 4 6 8 going down. He would also like it to use this information to graph 3 differnet types of graphs, position vs time, velocity vs time, and acceleration vs time, if you need more specifics as in equations adn that good stuff let me know

Yeah it shouldn't be too hard if you need some more help just post here and ill see what i can do. But im better with excel than i am formula's
