well the Dj or whoever uses a turntable. its not likely that the rapper makes up the beat or anything. but some do. cypress hill have people play instruments in the rock stuff, and one of the members is a Dj. hope this helps.
Alot of rappers use sound boards or samples....u can buy/dl a program called Acid Pro 4 and buy sample packs and make your own suff,,, i am a Dj just went and bought 2 neumark tables that are sick as heck.
Eh, kinda. What do you use to make the beat? I know that you use a turn table or something to play it, but what do you use to make it?
Yeah, but see, I am the rapper, and right now, no one I know can work a table or knows how to make a beat, so I wanna try to do it until I find someone.
The #1 definition for Music. music is SOUND... not instruments necessarily instruments MAKE sound... understand dummy? anyways, im not 100% sure how they make the beats but a lot of them are really good some are digitally generated, some are using instruments, and some are a mix of both
i hate people like you who say rap isnt music because it is. its like saying that heavy metal like slipknot isnt music because their mindlessley bashing instrumetns. rap is music so shut up, doesnt matter if its played from PC, turntables, instruments whatever, rap is classed as a genre of music! shut up!
didnt you guys ever see? they make beats with the huge desk the dj sits at while the rapper, is... rapping. you know, with all those levers you push up with your fingers? im sure that plays a crucial part.
