This has nothing to do with someone not sending them because they are trying to. Now whenever someone tries to donate me credits and they hit the link under my name, it comes up with the normal screen but my name is RenagadeT and that's not what I have set it. It's probably because of the ™ that is in my name. If I knew this would happen when I was purchasing the item I wouldn't have gotten it...

Then when they hit an amount to donate and click send or whatever, it says "Sorry, we can't seem to find that member."

    Can anyone help?

Well yes they can but I would probably get a lot of PM's about not being able to send credits and all that other stuff...

I already changed my name from Renagade to Renagade™ which I what I really want but if I have to go back I will.

But I don't want to pay for it.

Then they will have to do it the old fashion way and copy your name then paste it into the donate name spot. The Coding doesn't carry over symbols like that. Or get a donate button and do it that way.

It's going to cause a lot of trouble for me either way though.

Could I just get it changed back and get a refund?

If the coding doesn't support certain characters couldn't it convert it to ascii or something? Forgive me if it's a stupid question, I'm a newb at programming and can't even take the second course (french 3 and computer science just have to be during the same period *cries*)

its very simple coding, all it does is call for the $name variable. Often names with certain characters, like the TM, etc will mess up.

I know when i bought a Gr user account and renamed it 'R'Us Crew, i wasn't even able to log into it, because of the " ' " character. I had to get Llamaman to change the name, just so i could log into it.

wow, that's pretty sad, lol. Well, now that I've tried to comprehend stuff way over my head, I think I'll go have some breakfast and go camping. Thanks for the reply :)

*waves* bye bye for 12 days GR *starts pretend crying*
