I Can't Shutdown!

Everytime I try to shut down or restart I get stuck on "Windows is shutting down..." I have to turn the power off manually.

 

That happends to me all the time, has anyone got help.

 

I had a similer prob;em with it freezing on loading my personal settings, try scanning for viruses, and i'd reccomend running a registry mechaninc, that's what fixed mine.

 

Reg mechanics dont fix your problem they only delete reg keys etc - Not recommended

j/k u may just have a virus that wont let u do it

 

It's not a virus.. Windows has been known to do that. Did it alllllllllll the time on my old PC. I suggest you read the link posted above by Darkstar.

 

Yeah, the link above is quite useful. I think I did that when I had the problem a while ago.
