Found this on DA. how can u use 2 or more colours with coulds? for example there is mixture of Orange and Yellow and on bottom, there is blue and kind of green. and it doesn't look likie he just took paint brush and brushed it like that. what would i have to do in order to put multicolours like that? he doesn't look like used smudge tool or paint tool. so what did he/she do? Thank you. Merged Post: Look at this one. also same thing. Merged Post: again, same thing. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? (To get more then 1 colour in one pix to come out so smooth, w/o it looking like gradiants, smudged, painted).
i think its your firewall. turn off your firewall for a min and then turn it back on after you see it. or just ues diff. browser.
No firewall and i used Mozila Firefox and IE, and i cant see the images my friend (try www.imageshack.us )
I had to use firefox to see them didnt load with opera. Its probably just brushing with different colors on seperate layers would be my guees
I see them. All you gave to do is change your forground and background colors to the two colors you want your clouds to be
oh i am very sorry for you to be not able to see the images. try it with diff comp w/e u get a change. i just copied and pasted it from DA to show u some exaples. Red Alert, would you try something like that and show me your own made example and share your trial .psd. so i understand more. Thank you guys. Merged Post: humm. i see.
He/She most likely made it using diffrent textured brushing in shades of black/white/gray. then aplied a color balance, and then used a clipping mask. Repeat with diffrent layers/colors. OR Make the background black and white. then brush with a soft brush in the colors you want, and set to color/overlay/softlight. EDIT: dA does NOT allow hotlinking. Link to the page instead, or find another host.
right click the user posted image, go properties, then copy the URL into your browsers search enginge as to how its possible, its two different cloud layers that have been masked or erased, simple to do
Just get out your clouds then in a new layer brush in the colors and set that to color or hue blending mode.
1st one: changing the foreground and back... 2nd one: layer work, it could be anything, color balances with curves, levels, etc... but i think he/she used masks as well... 3rd one: a gradient map with an extra layer on it, with some work (the dark brown spots are the extra work)
