Hi. I'm not sure where to ask this but recently I downloaded some c4d renders and some turned out to be in .tif or .psd. I can't see the .psd files and my .tif files don't appear to be transparent... The .png files work for me but I can't use the .tif or .psd. Is there a way to convert them because I know that people cut them meaning that they should be transparent even though mines aren't.. (the .tif)

EDIT: I use the GIMP 2.2.11 if that makes a difference..

They are called 'Effect Renders'. They all have a black background. Set the layer to 'Lighten' or 'Screen' :)

Ohh.. thanks a lot! Also do you know what .psd files are? I got some of them from a render pack but it has no preview picture or anything.

you can amount up all your .psds until you have ALOT then go download the Photoshop CS2 trial version, and then you can convert the stuff thru there.
