k. Hair in renders..Is always a bitch to do. I had a hard time with it, but i know 2 tricks to make it easier For the first, when u render the hair, make the polygonal lasso have a father of 0.5 up to 1, depending on how much hair there is, and bunches and what not, just experiment, NEVER anything over 1..Looks all glowly. This is a example of hair i did with feather of .07 ************ For the second, click the color replacement tool. Then use eye dropper to select sum color from the hair. Now make sure u got sum color bg behind the pic, and brush over the messed up hair. I havn't used this much, but i made a quick example. This render was made by shneakysquirl, i just tocuhed up the hair for this tut, so i don't take cred for rendering the image. Here was the orginal: And after i touched up the hair: All the icky blue spots are gone And it looks alot better. I may have missed some. cause i did it fast, but take ur time and it will look great. U can mess around with the setting of color replacment to get diff effects. U can also make diff layers with diff colors of the hair and use different overlay mods to make it look more continuous as well. So ya. hope this helps u render hair better. Rep or creds appreciated if deserved Jesse
Pretty useful methods, jesse. And nice outcomes I'll try to use one of these when rendering hair next time
Yeah, nice Tut jess. I knew that hair wasn't the best, I've done MUCH better with hair before, but that one wasn unusually difficult because it has bunches of hair, and strands all at the same time. The touch up got rid of that little bit of blue, but I don't think the blue mattered to much imo, because it would almost for sure be blended in a sig. Great job on the tut jess
