How to make this kind of box/icon?

How do make it with Photoshop?

 

dont think you can.... unless you spend like 5 days on each icon.

 

I want to learn how to make 3d looking box. The are all same with diff color and name. I want to learn the how to design that with Photoshop.

nope. From what I know by other people, it is made in photoshop (as they wanted .psd). I want to learn how.

 

Oh damn, that would take ages, wish I could do that too lol

 

isn't it cool. I think you only need 3 square box layers and play around with perspective to get the design. but I am confused.

 

it probably can be done, but its most likely crazy hard to make something like that.

 

Its do able and probably would only take about 3 hours. Just need to be good with the warp,skew,perspective,square making tools, pen, and shading.

 

What version of photoshop u have? cuz u can do it with the 3d transform tool in ps7.0 but in cs i think u gotta install a plug in to get that feature.
just search
3d cube in photoshop or somethin like that in google.com
and it will show u alot of link how to do it.

I made it differently. Found the tut after I made it. lol

 

from there on just use the dodge and burn tools for the highlights

 

Thats much easier to do in Adobe Illustrator because of the tools it has.

 

i think you can make boxes with eliptical tool, then fill them, then transform them using prespective, then add different colors and effects on them, ive never tried this, but i think it is the only wat to make em
