My real name is Martin and I am 17 years old, and will be a senior when school starts in september. Why you would like to be a moderator at GameRenders: I have been here for well over a year now, and I have come to really love this place. I have shown my care for the site by building a reputation and getting to know other old members here. I am always browsing the site to find interesting topics and interesting suggestions to make GR better. I am always trying to help out other members (new and old) in any way I can. If that means explaining the rules or expectations, or throwing some credits at someone who really needs them, I am always willing to help out the community. I love moderating forums and I love being able to help people. I care for the community and want to keep the site as active and as fun as it possibly can be. What you would like to improve at GameRenders. I would love to stop the useless and hateful comments that happen. Even though people say "oh its the internet, why do you care if youre being bullied," it doesnt matter. There are a lot of young people at this forum who are offended when someone attacks their beliefs and opinions. People who flame others to be mean are completely immature and ridiculous. Theres no problem with stating your own opinion, but we can all do it in a respectful manner. I would also like to keep listening to every suggestion that members think of. This is already done, but i would like to make responses faster, so that people know they ARE being helped. A quick reply saying "im looking into this" will let members know that they are not being ignored, and would keep the site growing faster and faster. Your past experience with moderating forums (if any). Ive been a moderator or admin at well over a dozen forums. Darkstar and I have been moderating his forums for a while, and I have always been there to help. I was moderator and admin at pixelated paradise and elemental evolution. I was the only moderator at Megadeus but had to leave it as the site shut down. I have helped run various other small forums for friends, and a few other larger forums, but obviously none nearly as big as GR. I am very familiar with IPB. The amount of time (on average) you would be able to moderate the forum per week or day. During the summer (currently)- At least 2 or 3 hours on an average day, and many more on some days, and less on other days. Usually 2+ hours per day. During school (september)- At least 1.5 hours per school day (m-f) and 2-3+ hours on weekends. There are certain days where i am more busy than others with school activities. If you have any skills, such as creating good renders,sigs ect (provide examples), or general graphics talent. I like to think that i am pretty talented at making tags. I am told that i am very good, and I like to think that I am more talented than the average person. I got 1st place in the SOTW 2 weeks ago. heres a few tags: I would like to thank everyone for reading my application and hope that I will be accepted.
