I took pre calc as a sophomore and I enever studied, did the homework(well I copied about half it) or stayed awake in the class and I passed both semesters with a B... kind of sad though, if I did all the homework both semesters, my grade would have been an A for both... WHY COULDN'T THEY JUST MAKE IT A TEST ONLY CLASS... and I will admit to absuing my Ti83 once, but really the forumulas aren't that hard.

Pre-Calc is the hardest Calc class ive been in, i took a weird way into it tho, i think thats why i got confused.

I took Calc A as a sophomore in high school (ive always been naturally giften with math and science, i am interested and i grasp the concepts extremely easily) and then pre-calc my freshman year at CSU. Seeing the formulas vs seeing how they came to be realized made it hard for me.

If your not in Calc A youll understand when you get there. Calc A is the actual formulas and problems. Pre-Calc is like the history of math, you learn how all the functions were discovered and stuff. I was never great at remember large things (like history, english, etc.) so the formulas werent so hard, but I also hate writing alot on tests. I pride myself on being one of the first ones done and getting one of the highest grades.

Well... during my High School... for my GCSE's i didnt revise/study at home whatsoever. Mainly because im lazy, i regret doing it now and if i could go back and do my exams again i would any given minute.

But i still did well enough without revision.

In GCSE's, i got 4 A's, 5 B's and 3 C's. Which is bad really... considering i spent my time in high school getting stoned near every damn night and getting drunk every damn weekend lol. Once i forgot id got exams the next morning, and me and my sister got wasted off vodka.

I didnt realise until the next morning before my exams when i got a bottle of water.. that when you drink alot of water the day after you drink alot of spirits... it gets you drunk again. LOL. Needless to say that the exam which i was pissed in was one of the exams which i got a C in lol.

In summary - GCSE's are piss easy.

Its when you get to college and uni that you realise you've got to get ya head in gear lol

(this is for english people anyway, dunno if americans and such have GCSE's)

we have the SAT and ACT for your high school/college transition in the states, im assuming between those 2 things it'd make up your GCSE.

I always eat something sweer before an exam. Always does the trick. Especially when you have to write a minimum of 18 pages!

    Not really!

If you pay attention in class you can ace tests without studying. Thats how I manage to ace Chemistry and Math!
