How Much Ram Do I Need

    Well I like to use photoshop, edit in sony vegas and use other editing software and I only got 256 mb of ram currently.

    I have $60 that I can spend. I just want to be able to edit and design smoothly while running a few programs instead of freezing all the time.. what do you suggest and how much would it be ?

    for 60$ you should be able to buy at least a GB of ram, what type of ram does your MB support?

    Yeah you definitely want at least 1 GB, You will see a huge performance increase, what RAM does your MB support, DDR, DDR2 ect..
