Any one know how to make a transmitter/reciever or know how to turn the computer on with a remote controller?

Why you need a controller ? You can use the Windows Media Center 2005 remote to turn on your computer. You can also set it in the BIOS so that you hit (example) spacebar and your computer starts up.

In that case: *shrugs* I have no idea, you must work with IR and remotes, you must have a IR or Bluetooth receiver + remote. You can set it in a software program, but as far as I know, I suggest to spend $20 on a remote, easier and prob. cheaper then making 1 yourself
