How Do We Know?

First off, if you arent a christian, dont come in here and say things like "You guys are stupid. God isnt real." We appreciate your opinion, but not if you are bashing us.

How do we know if Christianity is real? I mean, the Bible says that Christianity is the supreme, but how do we know that Buddhism isnt the real supreme? Does God give us signs? Is he some how showing you that he is real, and that if you believe in him you will go to heaven and have eternal life?

Please chip in on this topic if you have something to say. I have just been thinking about this for a while now, and it has been getting to me.

Well honestly i just dont believe in religion at all, Evolution has been proved to be true. All religion does is cause war. However i think its good that you believe in something. To be honest there is no way you can tell, not until you come to the time u die.

I'm christian, but I hardly go to church but me and my family are really strong christians, but we feel that we don't really need to go to church to be close and right with God. I think that there are signs all over. You just gota know what and how to look for them.

 

We are only told what to do, how to do it but how can we trust in something we have not seen, touched, felt? There's where something called faith steps in.

 

Theres a new theory that is in dispute with Darwin's, it's called Intelligent Design. There was a documentary on TV about it, it's really interesting stuff. I'm still on a neuteral stance about the dispute.

I don't go to church much anymore. I used to be an "alter boy" I don't know what to believe actually. On one hand we are brought up to believe whatever our parents do. On one hand I think we can’t be the only thing in this universe with intelligence and feelings. On the other hand I don't see any proof of a god. It's really hard to explain and hard to know what is really out there. The way I figure it, if you believe that there is and trust that there is. When you die you'll go to heaven is there is one. And if you still believe that there is a god and there is not. Than what is the big deal? You’re dead anyway. So what do you have to lose? And another thing, how can so many people be wrong? But in the end I’m still perplexed.
