??? okay. so. if you anyone has read my last thread, i recently reformatted my computer, and it was kinda like my first time, so i forgot to back up drivers, but luckily, with a lot of help, everything worked out and i got everything dled. but now i have a headset i wanna use for skype and such, and the computer doesnt recognize it. does anyone know what i have to do? i think all the drivers are installed properly, becuase the speakers are working fine can anyone help? thanks
I don't know about Skype , but on msn if you go into actions theres and audio and video set up and it should let you choose your headset as a mic...
err i'm pretty sure its not skype, cuz like when i got to audio or w/e in the control panel and it like triest to test the mic, the volume does not change as i talk or anything, it always stays the same
if it is usb based there are if not, then you would be correct. ensure that everything is plugged in properly and configured properly via the audio drivers if not USB based.
Xlink hit the nail on the head. Mine can use either usb or the ports. If you use the USB then you need to install a driver otherwise my computer doesnt recognize the mic. But if you use the regular audio and microphone plugs there is no need for drivers.
heh sorry i finally figured out that.... it was plugged in the wrong hole >< lol noooooobed sorrry but thanks for all the help!
