How Do I Make Money Using Ps

I was wondering if it where possible to put some of my PS skills to good use and maybe look into some freelance opportunities. However I know very little about this market and was wondering if anybody could help me out?

 

Well for the most part tagging or LP design wont get you money, unless you make T----- designs or something like that.

The real money is in like advertising and manipulating images and things like that. like editing parts in movies/commercials/whatever, also logo design

 

It's called graphic design.A pr0fessional in the field is called a graphic designer, though that's kind of a given.You might wanna go to school to learn about the actual business part about that.

Freelance work I would think would just have a lot to do with getting your name around, like hinting to friends and family your looking for work like that, maybe advertising in the newspaper, getting a website, etc.

 

if you are pretty good making flyers... right there you can make some money.. just find people who make least 2 3 partys a month or so.. and you make the flyers for them.

 

please dont take offense to this comment, but you arent experienced enough to make any money in the freelance field. i am not good enough to make any money, and i know a lot of good people that are a hundred times as good as me and they cant make money. its just really really hard to get in to because there are so many people that are absolutely amazing. so right now youre just too new, but if you keep practicing and enjoy it then pursue it.

 

Your best bet would be T's, but I still doubt it. Make up some designs and ask your friends if they like them.

 

There are sites you can go to where people post up what they need done and how much they'll pay.

edit them and make them look -----.

most likley you'll want to buy a camera, go out and capture some good photos, go back to photoshop and edit them.
if you know anyone in the magazine business, then you canshow them. if not, set up a meeting to introduce yourself, get aquainted, and show them what you want to bring to the table. if they have positions open, and they like your work they will most likely get back to you. if the postions are full but they still like your work they will robably take your number and call you when they have an open position. and if you suck, well then they will probably ask for you number and never call you again haha

 

If you get good enough, money will come to you.
