How Do I Make An Irc Chat Like Gr

I know how to make a room but I want to make a chat room thats permanent for my site. So like even though no-one is there its still running. I want it just like GRS chat which i trhink is ICQ

Do you want to create a fourm like GR, if so you need to be good at CSS and HTML, which i am a little bit...

 

^<_< uhh, not only css and html for forums... you have to look at php files for modding and other purposes, and set up mysql.

 

Yup you need a good knowledge of handling MySql databases and stuff.

well the same applies for a chat room. You need to code the interface using HTML and CSS i'm sure.

Well first off you need to make an IRC channel ona server. I believe you said you knew how to do so.

After that, to add a Java IRC chat mod like they have here. You just need to add this mod found at Invisionize.
They have one for IPB v1.3 and one for IPB v2.0.x Depending on which version you are running.
