How Do I Make A Video Smaller?

    Yeh, i just recorded a lesson and its 39mb, its only 5 mins long, is there a way to lower the file size?

    You can compress them, or you can edit then in a program and it will be less size, but also less quality. 5min, 39mb, is nothing compared to 1hr= 2.7gig, for my videocamera then.

    you can maybe change the file format

    like into .wmv,.3gp or some other video format

    Xilisoft Video converter can convert it for you :) & got some other nifty proggys as well

    .mov is a fairly efficent file type. most of my movies i put (example: Waiting) on my ipod are like 1.5 GB in .VOB and the .mp4/.mov format is about .... eh, 700 mb?

    thats just one way, you could also get some video editor and edit the resolution, etc. dunno of any editors like that tho.
