Why I came here? How I got here? I came to PWN in PacMan. Then I thought "hey, there's a forum too!? lol. " So yeah..I was in search of Graphic Forums with pacman..and I came for that through google. So after my goal was met..I spammed..I mean.. "posted properly" around the forum.
back in 2004 my friend, currently ronin, recomeneded me here. He was one of the old timers back then who had been on GR before it even had a domain... well I wasn't too active at first but for some reason started tog et active... improved my skill so much GR is a great catalyst.
My "journey" Around 2001, when I was 11 years old, my cousins came over and introduced me to the "capabilities" of Kazaa. I got into the music thing. I also noticed that games were available. I looked to finding games on the Internet as well. I browsed around and went through some free mmorpgs until I found Tibia around 2003. I stuck with playing it and posted on their forums a bit. Besides Tibia, I occasionally checked sites such as Newgrounds. On Newgrounds, I saw the Counter-strike flash movies by Wei Xing. At the time, it linked to his crew site, Blackmaze. I joined Blackmaze and posted there for quite a while, despite its small community and traffic. It was then when I was introduced to making signatures and drifted away from playing Tibia. I started making newbie sigs and followed tutorials from Pixel2Life in December of 2004. I was kinda considered one of the "good" designers of Blackmaze, along with 3 others (note that there were only like 10 "regulars" to the forum :lol: ). Pixel2Life had a tutorial from Genesis Designs, another graphics forum. I learned a bit, and stayed about a month. From Genesis Designs, I heard Jashin and some others talk about Gamerenders. I joined Gamerenders in January 2005 in order to get some free renders . One day, I just felt like posting. I slowly improved over time and began trying new things. Here I am now.
my uh... friend Shortkhmer recommended me here, so we could battle n stuff. now i guess i'm here like semi-permanently.
My secret Tutor and, my friends told me about this place... i looked and saw good tuts, Renders a forum and a good friendship between members ^^
well...my firends had photoshop, and i was interested, so i "got" it, and i searched up tutorials, and i joined a few forums,then i found game renders.
my freind told em about this site. i went to it w/o going to the forums to search for renders like a noob. and then i found the forums and here i am.
Started making sigs on Team Compete cause I posted on the forums there for playing Rainbow Six for XBOX. Heard about Game Renders (from someone on Team Compete) to get good renders for the sigs I was making. Then I couldn't find some renders and decided to render my own stuff and share them here since people shared theirs too me.
