Hey people, can anyone recommend a free webhosting service that provides the following:

    PHP
    MySQL
    FTP and Browser access

Preferably no ads, but a popup is ok.

i know that lycos have all that but they have the annoying sidebar ad, however if you find the right code you can remove it.

That's very hard to find.. But if your willing to pay a little bit of money per month, then get hosted by my friend. Go to http://www.darkfieldmatrix.com/. Good luck.

He also gives some free hosting. You get 5 gb bandwith and all that stuff you need. Email him and try to get hosted (It will most likely be a subdomain.)

hostingposts.com was pretty good to me. I think you only need 5 posts, one time cost. there are different packages, all have cpanel and fantistico, and what you need, plus unlimited (or 5 can't remember) MySQL databases.

    Forumer.com for phpbb

And I believe bravehost offers one free mysql

And cjb.net for subdomains.. .tk is the nicest redirection cause its just like .com pretty much.

This is what you were supposed to put in the email, sorry, I forgot.

Read that and if he replies type up the info and send it to him. He won't use the info to your disadvantage, so don't worry. I trust him.
