Worste Experience Ever Encounterd

i met this person named Gothic Surge selling hosting from GameRenders, i was interested so i contacted him.

we managed to setup a deal for 2 accounts with unlimited bandwidth/space.. for $60 usd yearly ( before i paid i asked lots of questions over msn.. one being his guarantee of 99.9% uptime )

to make a long story short the hosting was terrible.. it was down more than it was up.. he switched servers 2 times and i had to re-upload all my files etc etc.he promised the final move would ensure 99.9% uptime and faster servers ( to appoligize he gave me a dedicated ip so he says ) i thought ok cool

hosting was still very spotty..was down 40% of time, i had to constantly message him and ask whats going on. contacting him was difficult in itself

whenever i did manage to get him over msn he would blame my computer for not displaying my website.. little does he know i own 3 computers and checked beforehand & contacted friends to check the site/s. i even posted here to show him others cant view the sites.he also claimed my site was being ddossed by someone who dislikes me..lol he always claimed his host never has problems and it must be me.

he eventually admitted over msn he located the problem.. and it was on his end ( something to do with dns setup? ) no idea

he openly admitted to lying to me so he didnt have to refund my money back.this 99% guarantee was definitely not being honored by him.he claimed to call his lawyer and he advised him not to refund me

it was a constant back & forth battle anytime i wanted support from this business.eventually after demanding a refund he said "oh i found illegal music on your site so i had to suspend you, therfore no refund" lol i had music instrumentals on there.. it was just a ploy once again to avoid paying out a refund..

he also said "i will tell everyone at GameRenders i BlackWidow was going to ddos game renders or something?" un----ingbelievable.. this is when i knew i was dealing with someone very immature =z

sorry for the rambling im just angry i fell into this terrible situation with Gothic Surge now known as GothicX

just warning anyone else to take every single precaution before dealing with this business.

i doubt that "Gothic Surge" is "Gothic X" at this forum but if he is then some people are going to get seriously scammed.

And sorry about what happen to you dude, really that sucks, if you need another host let me know...i think i can help.

And do ask other people about the host.

 

yes gothic surge is gothic X on here.. i've talked to him from both accounts concerning my hosting.. surge was banned and now gothic x is him..

neways thats not why i posted.. i seriously want to warn others from this.. so stressed out right now -_-

Don't buy hosting off people.. eh.. just go with a reputable company instead I say.

btw the original hosting i got from him was webducky.net , but he switched his "business" over to gshosting.net

guess im glad this whole ordeal is over with and i can start looking for a new reputable host.

lost $60 T__T lesson learned.

If you paid via Paypal, and have information to dispute, file a claim.

I got scammed outta $110 because some ----er refused to give me my ipb licence after i paid him... he said his account was frozen and i need to send another $110.

 

yeh im going to check on paypal shortly to see what steps i can take..

i also told him i would contact better business bereu and few others but he said "im just a minor and there's nothing you can do" zzzzzzz

edit: also he was in complete denial about my websites being down. lol til this day he claims there was never any problems.. even after i showed him screenshots and the post here asking people to check my site..

so im certain he will reply and try to claim this and that.. make up more lie's etc etc -_-

 

"hes just a minor"... stealing money is punishable by law. As long as hes 13, he can be tried as an adult... if it did come to that.

That fact that he said that will help your paypal case as well.

 

Gothic Surge, he scammed me also. He did come back a good 3-4 months later reoffering me hosting but I blew him off.. He was an asshole, plain and simple cancelled my hosting after a month.

 

I have also been scammed by Him, but i get BFTP To get my refund bcak

 

what an asshole and i think hes 12 or something cuz hes acting real wierd how can he still come online after scamming this much
