How would I host it myself? Would I have to create a server or something on a different computer?

    A link would help too.

    Thanks.

basically, you can host it off of your own computer, you just need one that can be on 24/7 to allow people to upload/download.

A fast internet connection, T1 or faster, would help.

And you need a networking operating system, like Windows 2003, or linux.

You could one on the computer your on now. without reinstalling the OS like suggested above.

You just need to download an ftp server program, I prefer Slimftpd or serv-u. Then make sure your ports are forwarded if your using a router. Then just connect with your ftp clien tot your computer.

You can only acces it if your computer is up and running tho.
