recently, whenever i started to use the text tool, my fonts have been acting very strange because all the font sizes are too big

to get a font that looks like something like this, i had to choose a font with its size at 2.5 pt, while before, it was somewhere around 8, 9, or 10.

i dont think i did any modifications to my computer except my wallpaper and i did nothing to change my photoshop (cs2) settings.

some fonts are naturally bigger than others.

are you using some new font?

if I'm not mistaking it has something to do with the settings of your file, DPI maybe?
I've had worse though, yesterday I had to use a 900 px. font to make it visible <_<
