The Christmas tree ones are really monotone and boring and don't make particularly good photographs. However, I have still not found a good way to take a picture of a Christmas tree without going macro. You pretty much need to be 10 feet away from the tree, or two inches from an ornament, otherwise they don't work out. The cranberry sauce looks great though, one of your best shots, comparing to all the ones I've seen, and discounting those christmas tree ones
