I was working on a sig, and got this far:

Then I started messing with the smudge colors and it came out like this:

I thought the second version looked really neat.. like a storm or something, so I thought about making it into a concept piece, but I don't know where to take it. I can't think of any ideas on how to do it. I'm unsure if I should put the render in the second version or make it into an abstract piece (although I'd need some sort of idea for it.)

    Anyone have any ideas? :(

Second smudging is better, gives it more depth and color.

Why not use a sprite on that? The bg looks too good to cover over with some big ass render, but a nice sprite would probably fit in there perfectly.Just an idea ^_^

kiyaa if you add some lighting stocks you could keep rolling with the storm idea, and if you want you could add a render, i think if you could get a good picture of meta-knights ship from super smash brawl it'd be real easy to work in ;) up to you though

Never even thought of doing a sprite. I think I've made maybe 1 sprite sig the whole time I've been doing gfx. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Throw that render to me and I'll see what I can do. :D Going to try a sprite first and if I can't get an outcome I'm happy with, I'll try it or something abstract.

    Thanks guys
